Keeping on top of it
Reports
Every figure on the reports page, what it counts, and what it is good for.
Reports answer one question: is receiving getting better or worse, and which supplier is responsible. Nothing here is typed in; all of it is added up from confirmed deliveries.

Units received
How many units came in over time, so you can see a quiet month as a quiet month.
Fill rate
Of everything that was supposed to arrive, the share that actually did. One number to argue with a supplier about.
Put another way
A punctuality figure for trains. Not the story of any one journey, but the honest shape of the whole timetable.
Worth knowing
On a brand new account you will see a dash here rather than a number. Nothing has been ordered yet, so there is no rate to report. It fills in as soon as you confirm your first delivery.
What goes wrong
The split between short, damaged and over across your flagged lines. Short deliveries and damaged goods are different problems with different conversations attached.
Vendor scorecard
Each supplier, side by side: how much they sent, how much of it was right, how often they were on time. This is the page to open before renewing with somebody.
Parts that keep going missing
Items short more than once. A part that is short every single time is usually a supplier problem rather than bad luck.
Who is signing for it
Deliveries per person. Useful for cover and for spotting that everything runs through one person who is about to go on holiday.
Overdue orders
Orders past their expected date with goods still outstanding. The chase list.
Did this page miss something?
If you came here with a question and left without the answer, that is a fault in the page rather than in the question. Tell us what you were trying to do and we will write it up, usually the same week.
