Cancelling
Open Settings, then Billing, and cancel there. No email, no form, nobody trying to talk you out of it.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. The account keeps working until the end of the month you already paid for, then drops to the Starter limits. Your records stay where they are, so you can still search the log and export it.
Who you actually bought from
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for DockCount. They sell the subscription, take the payment, handle sales tax, and their name is the one on your card statement. We supply the software behind it.
That matters here because refunds run through them, under their buyer terms, and they can issue one at their own discretion within sixty days of a purchase whatever we say on this page. Any policy claiming otherwise would be describing a power we do not have.
What we refund
We bill monthly in advance and a month that has run is a month you used, so we do not refund time you had access to. There is no blanket money-back window.
Two things we do put right, without argument:
A charge that should not have happened. Billed after cancelling, billed twice, billed on an account you closed: tell us and it goes back in full.
A service that was not there. If DockCount was broken in a way that stopped your team logging deliveries, we refund the days it was broken. You do not have to prove it; we can see it.
Changing plan mid-month
Upgrading is charged for the days remaining in the month, so you pay for what you use. Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal and you keep the bigger plan until then.
Before you dispute a charge
Write to us first. A chargeback takes weeks, costs everybody more than the subscription is worth, and is a slower route to the same money. Almost everything that reaches us gets sorted the same day.
Email support@dockcount.com from the address on the account and say what happened.
If money is tight rather than wasted
Downgrading keeps the account and the whole history. Starter covers one location and three people, which is enough to carry on logging deliveries through a quiet season. The pricing page lists what each plan carries.
Your rights where you live
Consumer law in some countries gives buyers a cancellation right that a policy page cannot take away. Nothing here is meant to, and where local law gives you more than this page does, the law wins.
