Questions that come up
- Do we have to talk to anyone first?
- No. Create the account, add a purchase order, and receive against it. There is no call to book and no access to request.
- What happens if the photo will not read?
- You pick the PO and type the quantities. Reading the slip is a shortcut, and a shortcut that fails must never stop a pallet being signed for, so the manual path is always there.
- Can we switch plans later?
- Any time, from the billing page, and the change takes effect immediately. Downgrading past a limit you are using will tell you what is in the way before it does anything.
- What counts as a location?
- One receiving dock or bay that takes deliveries. Two buildings on the same site with separate goods-in doors are two locations.
- Does this replace our inventory system?
- It does not try to. DockCount covers the gap between a purchase order and the pallet in front of you, and hands the result to whatever you already use for stock.
- Can purchasing see it without a login?
- They get the summary by email on every confirmed delivery, itemised down to the line. If they want to search the log themselves they need a user, and Business covers 25 of them.
