Do not go after other accounts
- Reading, changing or deleting records belonging to another business.
- Probing for a way in, or testing our security without asking us first.
- Working around the limits your plan sets on users or locations.
- Taking someone else's login, or sharing yours so a seat can be avoided.
Security research is welcome when it is agreed in advance. Write to support@dockcount.com and we will tell you what is in scope.
Do not upload what is not yours to upload
Photograph your own packing slips and your own damaged goods. Do not upload material you have no right to hold, anything unlawful, or anything containing someone's personal details that you have no reason to be storing.
A packing slip with a driver's signature on it is normal and expected. A scan of someone's passport is not.
Do not degrade it for everybody else
- Automated traffic heavy enough to slow the service down for other accounts.
- Uploading files that are not photographs of deliveries, to use us as storage.
- Running the service for businesses that have no account of their own.
What happens if you do
Most of the time we email you first, because most of it is a misunderstanding about seats. Something serious, or something that puts other accounts at risk, gets the account suspended on the spot and an explanation immediately afterwards.
Suspension does not delete anything. You will have thirty days to export your records, which the terms set out.
Reporting something
Seen an account doing any of this, or found a hole in ours? Write to support@dockcount.com. We read it the same day.
